About Me

My name is Susan Nyambura.I was born in the year 1979.I am a mother of one boy called Jemmy.I am a sallonist by profession.I was born and raised and later schooled in Nyandarua province, currently the Nyandarua county. When i completed my secondary school education,i relocated to my Aunt's place in Nakuru town, where i got a chance to attend the hair dressing course at the Vera beauty college through her support in paying my fees..
After one and half years,i graduated and got my certificate in hair dressing .I was lucky to have got a friend in town where i was employed for a year on a commission basis before i ventured into my own salon.Thank you

My Business

I am a salonist by profession.I own a salon here at Langa-langa estate,Kenya. My business is registered under the County authorities and given the business permit for operating.I started to operate in the year 2010, and i started it with a capital of Ksh.65,000/=.This was furnishing the salon with more hair products(hair-extensions,braids,weaves,and pure human hair) ,modern hair tools, one hair-drier machine, two blow-drier machines ,plastic chairs, drawers for the customers towels and one waiting bench.
After my customers have appreciated for my services, they kept telling their friends about my good services and styles, which gave my business a new lease of employing another lady who has same or more skills in hair beauty.I was left with no option rather than looking for one.I advertised the vacancy on my door. They really came in large numbers but unfortunately i was requiring only one. They did their exams through my head for the new hair fashion in Braiding, and only the one i was looking for secured the space.Currently we are still working closely and i am guaranteed that we will make women heads looking blossom in the whole town.
At the moment my monthly net profit nets at an average of Ksh.11,000 to Ksh.15,000.
Through your kind support to my salon,I will be able to add the cosmetics section more hair products and varieties(colours & sizes) for my customers satisfactions. This will make my business grow and also improve my living standards for my family.Thank you in advance for the support.
