My name is Ngatia, married with three children.I was raised from a very humble background since my parents had no promising jobs by then. I joined Kariki primary school the year 1981.I successfully completed my primary education and joined a provincial secondary school. My parents struggled a lot in paying my school fees since my other four younger siblings also needed education.I joined University of Nairobi one year after my secondary education.I was grateful because i was sponsored by the Government and i did a degree in Bachelor of Commerce, finance option. My important goal in life was to finish my University education.Since my parents could not afford in giving me pocket money, i used to look for perennial jobs like working in supermarkets at night in order to earn my pocket money. My business is about clothing which i started five years ago.Through savings in supermarkets, i was able to start the clothing industry. The uniqueness about where i live is that i deal in ladies cloths and have a ready market. My two children wants to become doctors and the other one wants to be a footballer. My unique hobby is helping the needy people.
I provide ladies wear. The goods are in high demand since my business is located near supermarkets, main bus station and other exhibitions that are frequented by ladies.I chose this kind of business because ladies like new trends and unique wear.My profits per month is KSH 25000. I use my profits in paying school fees and reinvestment in growing my business.
I will buy a few clothes worth 41 dollars(2 items). The clothes are fast moving items and so I will be able to turn over the cash and make more profits within a month. They take 2 to 3 days to sell and so I will make around 230 dollars in a month and will be able to pay the loan.
I am also targeting clients in February to March which is our high season
