About Me

I am Dishon Yoweri Odidi an aspiring young entrepreneur. I live in Kisumu City. I currently participate in the buying and selling of cereals (maize, beans, rice e.t.c) from other towns and sell them to Kisumu. I am also struggling to make more money so as to continue with my education. This will need a lot of saving since the money to pay for a degree course is hard to come by therefore only business can help me to achieve my goals. The earnings from this business will be used in the saving for college fee.

My Business

When I am given this loan I want to look for proper market for my goods from different towns and supply it to my town Kisumu. I have noted in the past few years that the value for goods like cereals are cheap in other towns as compared to my town Kisumu. Therefore it made me have the urge to buy the goods in the nearby town and come and sell them in my home town Kisumu. The need for more maize in Kisumu has risen, so has the price and if you check the bracket of the sales of the goods in other neighboring towns then it is more cheaper therefore may lead to increased profits in the doing of the maize businesses. Currently, the prize of maize is set to go up in my town and it is already high as compared to other towns due to the dry spell that we have faced in the last one year. My customers will and always prefer my business since the business is about daily basic need. Therefore the weekly profit that I will attain from this loan will enable me to repay it fast and reliably. There are a lot of challenges in this business therefore marketing and making the goods available to the customers easily are my main goals for maximizing profit and sales. I will have to be a little fairer on the prizes as compared to other competitors in the business

Loan Proposal

I will use the usd 150 for inventory of dry Maize for my grocery store.
Western Kenya , having failed to get the long awaited rains in April, the harvest is poor and there is shortage of dry maize which is staple food for the majority here.
I will use this loan, to add on my stock, which is not enough to sustain my customers.
The profit margin is BIG, enough to help me repay the loan. Already I have stock, which when sold, will help in the initial stage of repaying the loan.
I will use the proceeds to increase on stock, to pay fee for my continued education and to
Stock worth usd 150,can resell in one week, with expected selling price of usd 200.
Support my bid dear lenders. I thank you for supporting my application
