About Me
My name is Narasha Koech- born and raised in Nakuru county. I am currently 26 years old married and blessed with one daughter.
I am the third born in a family of five and I reside with my family in Industrial area- outskirts of Nakuru town.
I could not study much due to financial challenges while my husband is a driver.
To make good use of my time and also help contribute in family income, I established a cereal shop about a year and a half ago and has been a success.
My hobbies are reading novels and inspirational articles.
My Business
To supplement family income, I have a cereal shop where i sell cereals such as maize, wheat, rice, millet and a few legumes such as dried beans and pigeon peas
The shop is located in industrial area- few meters from Pyrethrum board.
My main customers are local hotels and residents inthe area. I also serve a few small scale tenders from local secondary schools.
I would like to improve my stock, attract more customers and venture into bigger tenders which pay well.
Loan Proposal
I would like to expand the size of my stock especially for maize, rice and dried beans which have high demand in my area.
I therefore plan to use all the $100 on purchasing the additional stock.
The increased stock will improve my net profits by about 25% which will enable me, repay the loan with ease and save more for future projects such as introduction of fresh produce especially vegetables within the same premise.
