I am Mary Wangechi Tharao.I am a single mother, who own a small business of selling new clothings for profit. I have 3 grown up girls and 2 grown up boys. All of them are in various major towns looking for their greener pasture for survival.
I have in the past 4 years been active in my business, but in the recent months my business has been facing various financial challenges due to the raising demand of various new cloths especially on women, thus making me to look for a financial aid from Zidisha Microfinance to improve my small business.
With the profit I get I pay my grand daughter's school fees, pay my home bills,re-invest back to business and save for my future retirement kitty .Thank you.
I am in clothing sales category. basically i do buying in wholesale & re- selling new clothes as my source of income to my family. I sellall types of ladies clothes, men trousers, men socks, and now I want to stock new school uniform.
Most of my customers are ladies and few men.It is because ladies go with fashions and most of these clothes are sold faster compared to men's wear, and I have stocked ladies wear in all fashions in today's trending market .
The business is profitable and easy to manage since i have been in this business for the last 4 years now.Making the demand to increase compared to other home clothings.
My business is located along General Mathenge street here in Nyeri town, and it's licensed by the Nyeri county authority on an annual license renewable basis.
The total net profit that I will generate from the new stock, will be re-invested 40% back to the business,25% for my basic up-keep,15% for my grand daughter,s school fees and 20% saving for future investments.
Thank you in advance Zidisha team as you keep boosting my business to the next great level.Thank you all.
I thank you all once again for your generous support in finance and your prayers also for this far you have taken my business.
As now, we are in cold season in Kenya and it is my prayer that you fund my business with more capital which I am planning to start a new stock of Masaai traditional lessos and Kikois.
The goods are new to market and the demand is hitting more and therefore will support more in my loan repayment period from the profit I will be getting.
The clothing stock will go for about Ksh.15,000/= and will improve my profit upwards to about 25% increase.
Thank you all and welcome for my loan funding.God bless you all in advance.
