Lydia Adhiambo Barasa was born in 1992 in a family of five. I went to Nyagondo Primary school , Sinaga Girls High School where I completed my forth form. My dad passed on and my mother single handedly raised us up.,
Unfortunately during school session I used to stay with my aunt who used to live me with the husband. I got the shock of my life when he raped me and I conceived to date I have not been myself and I regret my life.
I stay with my daughter and work as a business lady. Hawking necklaces, Cutex , Cloths Materials for tailors.
I have a passion for media work and currently besides business am attached to a family friend who runs media production services and now am on training and want to buy a digital Camera for field Work.
After things got out of hand ,through a well wisher and a family friend I started as a freelancer .
Since Video coverage, photography Video editing is part of the work done at the premises am in charge of field work and am paid every time I go out for field work. I am paid about Usd. 15 and on a good day am paid Usd 30. When put together with my small business which include selling of items on order by neighbors and friends I earn about Usd 50.
In a month I earn Approximately Usd 180.
I plan to buy my own Digital Camera to Save me time , expenses and increase my profit.
I trust you lenders.
When I receive the loan I want to add some amount from my savings to buy an Epson L400 for Instant photo printing at events. This will cost me about Kshs. 21000. about 244 dollars.
From the savings got from the business will go for an invater and an acid lead accumulator (Battery) which will be source of my power in remote areas where electricity is a problem.
though the battery is a long term objective. for now I purpose for the printer alone due to the finances I have as of now.
