About Me

my name is mary wanyama. my childhood was such a nice once having hailed from kitale town then moved with my parents to nairobi the capital of Kenya. i studied the normal Kenyan curricular then proceeded to taking secretarial courses and short hand from hyrax college in Nakuru.this is what i even do currently and am proud of it.

i do not fear challenges and i overcome hardships by focusing on the overall goal.I am a spiritual person and most of the time when overwhelmed so my i get solace in the word of God.I always pass major hurdles in life through planing and i don't fear to take risks especially calculated risks.
i started my business in 2008 after college. i was employed as a secretary for one year and though that i learned on how to run my business .i live in a cosmopolitan town that is Nakuru.this has made me to appreciate the myriad of cultures that are around me. i would like my children to be what the could be but better in terms of education and perspective in life.
In my free time i usually swim and watch movies and when i get time i visit the children in the children homes and teach them. I like children because this is a stage that they can be molded to what they want to be in life.

My Business

i provide secretarial services in my shop. i do typesetting ,photocopying and provide cyber cafe services in my shop. there are many schools and colleges around that benefit from the services that i provide.this make my place busy and hence more profitable. i meet their needs and they come for the services offered.

I chose this business because i trained in it and through the experience i got while working as a secretary has made me comfortable in this business. coupled with the customers that comes in droves i am in a good business venture. I usually make between $120 to $150 a month the revenues that i use to pay my bills and take my child to school and also expand my business.

Loan Proposal

thanks zidisha team for always being there to help our small businesses grow. the loans go along way in helping us achieve our dreams. when i get he loan I will use it in the following way. I will use $70 to buy a printer as this is used so much at my secretarial shop.$20 will be used to buy photocopying papers and $10 will be used to for transport to my shop.the revenue got from this will be use to expand the business and help me pay my bills and take my child to school.
