About Me

My name is Peter Wainaina. I am a father of 2 and I work in Mombasa town though I am originally from central Kenya where I grew up while helping my parents with their farming activities.

I have worked in many places ranging from hotels, hair salons and transport business.

My children are now young adults and one is doing a course in journalism while the other one is studying ICT in college.

My Business

I do different types of printing and branding. My production includes business cards, receipt books and all manner of publications. I also buy wall clocks and brand them in accordance with my clients (mostly corporate) needs.

My net income (on average) is about USD 400. My expenses are rent, electricity bills and wages. I am working hard to keep the business growing and enable me to buy bigger and better printing machines in future.

I do this with the help of one worker whom I pay on commission basis.

Loan Proposal

I will use the money to buy an assortment of printing paper which I will later use to print publications. I will use USD 100 to buy white bond paper (80g/m2) and another USD 100 boy buy thick manila paper (120 - 200 g/m2). These are the types of paper that I use most for my work and I will reap a good profit once I use them.

Thank you very much.
