About Me

My name is Samuel Adjei. I am from Kwahu in the Eastern Region of Ghana. I was born in a small village called Akwatia. Akwatia is located about 70 kilometers south of the city of Accra which is 1st largest city in Ghana. I spent most of my life in the capital city of Ghana, that is Accra. I am a caterer by proferssion and currently working with one of the mining company in Obuasi. But in Accra I also found a part time job at a local restaurant to help my parents financially. Moving in to a new city and settling there was a huge challenge for me and my family .Everyone can agree that I am a good caterer and that I like to cook and learn some more techniques in cooking. My favorite subjects were chemistry and biology but I did not major on it. I have plans to setup my own restaurant in the near future and to be the best restaurant with affordable prices in town.
I can say that I am a responsible and a hard-working worker. Moreover, being a sociable person, I have many friends since I like to communicate with people and get to know new interesting individuals. I enjoy my time at work because I cook for the Chief Executive Officer for obuasi mine and they love my food. Cooking is my passion and I really love to cook. My parents have five children of three girls and two boys. Two big sisters are ahead of me and the last born is a girl.All my sisters are blessfully married and doing well. Though I lost my mother not quiet long. I had already gotten over it.
My friends say that I am a very funny and an interesting man with a good sense of humor. As soon as I meet new people who are happy to meet me, I feel extremely comfortable with them. I believe that friendship is one of the most important values in human life. We exchange new ideas, find many interesting things about each other and experience new things. I appreciate friendship and people who surround me.
I enjoy reading, always bragging about the new book I have red to my friends. I love writing, browsing the internet and watching movies and soccer is my passion
I hope to get better at varieties of food and I want to be the best chef with the best eating spot in the near future.

My Business

I live opposite The St.Thomas Junior and Primary School and in the year 2010, I took advantage of putting up a bookshop infront of our house to cater for the needs of the school children upon the advise of the headteacher who was an intimate friend. And since then the patronization of the school children and folks around is overhelming, even when the school are on vacation. Because of my engagement with the mining company, I had employed a friend’s daughter to take care of the shop and she is very honest and hard working I had hired an accountant who normally goes out to purchase to replenish stock and handles the accounting aspects for the bookshop. The demand for stationery provokes me to allow the account to travel to the big cities to buy to replenish stock. I have added sweets and beverages to the shop and my wife who is also a caterer had started baking meat pie into the shop to boast or increase income.
In order to save the children from making frequent trips to the shop and frequently crossing the road to the bookshop, I sent a proposal to the headteacher to let every class list their needs and call the shopkeeper to send the items to distribute the school children. We are selling quality items at a reasonable prices to the school.
If the loan is given me I am going to increase my inventory to meet the high demand, expand the shop to accommodate the increase of inventory. Plans are underway to purchase my own truck to convey the items from the big cities to the bookshop to save me from the high cost of hiring transport. Mini laptops had been distributed to primary school by the government but about 70% were not given some so I will take the opportunity to sell these kiddies laptop to the school children.Because the world has become dynamic, I have plans to introduce flashy and new stationery items to the school. I also want to stuff my shop with story book.

Loan Proposal
