About Me
Am Kenyan in mid 20s of age living in Githurai Nairobi. I have completed college level education. I come from a family 6 siblings (three brothers and 2 sisters) and we grew up in western Kenya. Am single and my hobbies are watching football, travelling and listening to music. Above all I like doing community work during my leisure time like nature conservation. Through my business am able to support my basic needs and also support my younger brother like paying rent for my room, food, clothing and medication.
My Business
I have a Bachelors degree in biomedicine with IT but I was unable to get a biomedical job after I graduated. So I started a Mobile Photo studio business- where I do photo shop and photo shooting for customers in my neighborhood which are meant for business promotion and advertisement. Also for domestic purposes like in cases of weddings and other mini events. From the business am able to get an average net profit of about Ksh 10000 (~US$115) per month. One day I would like to expand my business and run a photo studio from a fixed location.
Loan Proposal
Due to high demand from my customers to offer photo video slides i decided to start producing video photo slides in DVD and CD formats in my small photo studio and above all photo albums. and in order to increase profits to the business i also started selling usb cards, Flash Disks, memory cards and other mini data carriers. I also supplement it with selling of latest moves and series. This in turn has resulted to increased budgetary expenses and am unable to meet all these expenses.
my budget then runs as follows i need US Dollars 50 for rent, 30 US dollars for blank DVDs and CD,100 US dollars inventory of data carrying electronics i.e memory cards , flash disks for approximately 100 US dollars. Though i have some of the cash i still need more cash so as to increase the volume out put of my mini business project.
