About Me

My name is Mwanose Amos,,,,i grew up in a shanty village of mghange village in sagalla location, voi sub county.i went to sagalla primary school .later i joined mwakichuchu sec from form 1 to form 4. i ventured into farming so as to get money that will act as a get pass to further my studies.i like reading alot...and my desire is to get more education from the one i posses.

My Business

My business is all about Agro business.i have concentrated much with planting maize tomatoes and onions. The vegetables that i grow are in higher demand since the target clients and consumers do not have access to these products due to poor rain fall and lack of enough land to do farming.i chose this business because it required little capital to start with and there is ready market for the products. The typical costs runs from 25000 to 35000 and the revenue is close to 55000 to 60000 depending on demand and market price.i use the profits to grow my business and also home improvements.

Loan Proposal

Dear lenders i take this opportunity to thank you for bringing us this loans...As i take this second loan i intend to buy watermelon seeds.that i will plant on my already prepared farm.the seeds will cost 160 dollars on the entire farm so i will use the loan to purschase half of the seeds and use my own80 dollars to buy the seeds. The loan will help me fund my brothers school feels and also use the remaining profit from the farm products to sustain my own budget.i will be glad if am granted this loan

Amos, I'm really sorry to hear about your crops being destroyed by the nearby elephants :-(

Its probably worth popping the zidisha team a message... They might be able to pause things till you get back on your feet? & Can also likely lower your repayment amount, & restructure your loan so you can just pick it up from here? Just pop them a msg & ask for some help :-) www.zidisha.org/forum-threa...

Wishing you all the best... Hope you have some better luck :-) Emma from Australia.

      Hello Emma and Amos,
I saw your thread in the forum. I don't think there is a pause in paying Zidisha installment but, Amos, you could adjust to lower your installment to amount you are comfortable to pay regularly each week. You could adjust it directly through the adjustment page. I think only Indonesian who have a selection of installment on the adjustment. You could even adjust to KES 100 per week.
I'm sorry to hear about your maize crop. Good luck.

Hello Amos Mwanose how are you.
    I hope good.
I'm writing to you, because of that you are a few weeks overdue loans.
When can we expect the repayment.'
Remember that due to the lack of repayments, other borrowers will have to wait for their allocation.
    Please let me know.
    Best regards
    John
