About Me

My name is Josphat Gichingiri Githui, being born in the town of Nakuru in the Year 1965,as the 3rd born in our family of 6 siblings.i have attained a primary school & secondary school education respectively.I was not able to further my education through college because of financial constrain and also their were other siblings behind me who were also continuing with their primary & secondary education.I have worked with various companies such Kenya Co-operative Creameries(K.C.C)&Kenya Farmers Association (K.F.A) respectively.I am married with one daughter & two sons,In our church am an elder,i have a passion in reading ,mostly newspapers and the Bible.

My Business

I am fully now involved in farming which is Dairy farming,i started this farming as a business and i can't regret because of the benefits that i have reaped from this business,it is very viable and good business.l have two cows that l milk an average of twenty eight liters of milk daily which l then take the eight liters for my family (two liters) and the neighbors (five liters) i sell to them. The remaining twenty liters i sell to our local co-operative society. This enables me to earn USD 110 per month after deducting the expenses, the demand for milk is very high and my dream is to have more three cows.
To support my dream i will make a saving of USD 60.It is with great humble i take this chance to thank the entire Zidisha family.Thank you in advance for your kind support.

Loan Proposal

My appreciation goes to the entire Team of Zidisha for granting me this opportunity, this loan from Zidisha and lenders i will buy the Hay for the cows at a cost of USD 70 ,which will cater for the feeding while the cows are being milked because they produce more milk with the hay,the remaining i will buy the dewormers at a cost of USD 18 ,this dewormers are so crucial to the cows and they will improve the feeding and also milk quality and quantity.Thank You for your kind support.
