I am Joyce Kamau,a Kenya born citizen.I am a female and a wife and a mother too.My home town is Wanjohi township,Ol-Kalou location,Nyandarua county,Kenya-East-Africa.I work as a business lady at Stema shopping centre and I deal with selling human drugs in my small shop known as Good Health Pharmacy .
My hobbies are walking, meeting new friends,visiting the needy & sick people,Reading informative materials,e.t.c.

My Business

My business is in Health category.I own a chemist here in Stema shopping centre,Wanjohi town,next to Kass-mart supermarket.I specifically deals in selling human drugs.I have been doing the business now for the last four years,immediately after I graduated in pharmacy course in a government college.
My clients are the inhabitants of this town,neighbouring villagers,among others.I normally source my drugs from the Government supply agents(Kepsa). Mostly I sell the originals and generics as the people are not equal pocket wise.The originals are somehow expensive compared to generics.
In my weekly sales I averagely gets a total sales of Kshs.45,000.After I restock the drugs,I averagely get a profit of Kshs.3,500 per week.Part of the profit(55%) gets back into the business,(30%) goes to my daily expenses plus bills,15% savings.I normally re-invest back so that my chemist can grow and finally it will be able to cater for itself in future.
This has taken a while now while my chemist could improve,forcing me to look for another source of financial support.This has landed me at Zidisha Microfinance team.I am therefore kindly requesting the Zidisha team to stand with me so that I can expand my chemist into a modern pharmacy.I am intending to use the loan to restock more ARV's drugs,Diabetes insulins,malaria tabs,children's oral syrups(Amoxyl,cafenol,paracetamols,among others.)This will make my clients afford them at a reduced prices,thus making a good sales.Thank you all and May God bless Zidisha team.

Loan Proposal

Thank you Zidisha team for your continuous and generous support you have been giving to my small business.Now it has achieved more potential clients for my services .This far I can count you(Zidisha lenders)as part of my success.
Now I am intending to use the second Zidisha loan to restock more original A.R.V's drugs,Diabetes insulins and anti-malaria tabs (adults & children),children's oral syrups(Amoxyl,cafenol,paracetamols,betafen plus,among others.),e.t.c.
I am intending to purchase the above goods at about 507 dollars from the main government supply agency.
