my name is Richard Sarpong. I started fending for myself at an early stage of 13 years.
I mended shoes to take care of my self and pay for my education. Though my parents were alive, they were not financially sound.
I completed secondary education through self support and partial scholarship.
I completed wesley college in 2000 and was employed by the Ghana education service.
In 2006, I left Ghana Education Service and started a computer hardware and software training centre.
in 2013, I was employed by the Prudential Bank Ghana.
I was educated as a teacher as I completed Wesley college of education In Kumasi Ghana. I worked with The Ghana education service for 4 years. after the four years, My interest in Information Technology, filming making and photography grew stronger. I then started a private office and begun doing local movies and photography.
I also recently started a transport management service.
I have grown to become resilient person and now I am also a Pastor.
I currently run two major businesses.
1. PHOTO AND VIDEO STUDIO: I have a studio for photography and video works where I do photography. I also manage social media platforms for individuals and organisations such as churches.
we do videos and upload photos and videos to their social media accounts.
2. TRANSPORT MANAGEMENT: I manage vehicles for the vehicle owners by finding operators and drivers for the vehicles. I also take care of all expenses and faults of the vehicles so that vehicles owners do not have to go through the ordeals.
I charge a commission on all sales made by the vehicles and pay the vehicles owners the sales due them.
I will use the loan to support the payment of the cost of new tires for one of my vehicles used for digital taxi service.
I look forward for an opportunity to get a higher loan to expand my business.
The restriction on movement in my country due to covid 19 has been lifted. though business not fully normal in some sectors, this has not affected my business. My drivers are able to make their weekly sales without any difficulties.
