About Me

Ofori Godfred is my name. I come from Berekum in the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana. I am 46 years of age, a marriage man with four children. I stay in Berekum in a house number; AH 052 Ahenboboano. I am black in compression I am a cocoa farmer. My farm is also located in Berekum. I like playing volley as my favourite game.

My Business

Dear lenders, farming is a very hard profession and a lucrative one too. I started farming about five to six years ago. Before then, I started with a small scale farming of our local crops like cassava, plantain, and maize. I gathered capital and later bought cocoa seeds to involve myself into a cocoa farming. I am currently managing my cocoa farm of about 16 acres. Dear lenders, cocoa is having two season of production, the major crop season and the minor crop season. If it is maintained well with chemicals like fertilizers, insecticides, and weedicides, it produces more equally in both seasons. For the whole year, I can get about four hundred to five hundred bags of cocoa, which is huge amount of money. Because cocoa has been so useful to the whole world, the market price of cocoa in my country here is very awesome. With my farming, I have been able to establish my provision store, which gives my family our daily bread. The farm has also help my children to further their education into a higher level. Dear Zidisha, I still need a huge amount of money to make more different farms, so help me. I am ever ready to use the loan wisely in order to be able to repay. Thanks.

Loan Proposal

Dear Zidisha, it needs a lot of investment before a cocoa farm can be useful. If you help me with your loan, I am going to use it to buy more different chemicals to spray the farm so that I can increase my production. I need to buy cutlasses and other farming tools like the spraying machines to make the work easier and faster. I also need money to help in labor and transportation of farm products. Dear Zidisha, it is my aim to establish animal farm, I hope with your organization, I would be able accomplish it. It also involves a lot of money before it can be done.
