About Me

I am a trained Secretary who has been working as an Office Assistant for a govt Department for 9 years now. I started selling different items at an early age when I was in Grade 5 at primary school for my parents couldnt afford to give me transport or lunch money every day. On days they could afford, I would use the money to buy on wholesale sweets & biscuits & then resale to my classmates. I would in turn make extra mobey for lunch & transport to see me through a school team.

I have grown to maintain this culture of making an extra small income. Am currently living & working in a small underdeveloped town and looking after my Parent, siblin, cousins and my son as a single mother hasn't been easy. My salary just isn't enough so I decided to start selling miscellaneous items rarely found in Mongu.

Mongu is a growing town. It's slowly being developed. It's a warm sandy town so items like shoes, baby or grown up swimming pools and perfumes are on hi demand from locals. The people are friendly and want very much to have almost all the nice items found in the capital and other towns so supplying them these items is very much welcome.

My Business

I choose to do this business for its a fun part time hobby. I can sell items to my clients from my office and sell some online right from the comfort of my home or office.

When it comes to supplying items to my local customers, I pick items that are not readily available on the market. Branded designer perfumes, shoes, household materials, utenciles, children's toys, food stuffs or leather handbags.

I picked on supplying these items for Mongu is a hot town. Because of the hot terraine, shoes for both children and grown ups get damaged easily especially if they are of poor quality. So I supply strong leather shoes I import from my South African supplier. Perfumes, I sell are also of good quality designer scents keeping every fresh on hot sweaty days.

From the profits I make, I reorder new stock and some of it I use it for my Fathers upkeep at his house, my upkeep at my home, pay for my sink in and cousins school fees and other miscellaneous costs.

Am currently employed on a permanent basis and I am more than able to repay back my loan.

Loan Proposal

This loan I need it to get a few more cosmetics urgently needed by my clients. I need more lip glosses and so this will assist me to get the remaining box of items.
