About Me

My name is Brisah Kwasi born on the 14th of June, 1982, and am now 33 years old. I come from Berekum in the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana. I had my basic education at Berekum Presby'A' Junior High School, and then further education at Berekum Senior High School. My father passed away when I was seven years old, and I attended public school ever since then. My mother started farming to take care of us. I am in a family of four, and I am the second born of my parents. After completing Senior High, I found it difficult to further my education at university because there was no money available to further my education. The whole family depends on the small farm that my mother started. So I help my mother on the farm. Eventually, I got the chance to go to Cape Coast University and successfully earned a degree certificate in Agricultural Science. However, I still have no employment yet, so I decided to start my own vegetable-crop production and nursing crops . My family has vast land to cultivate crops to support the family. I borrowed money to start my vegetable-crop production and it's growing fast. I use the knowledge I gained at university to cultivate my vegetable crops, and I still have a lot of interest in farming. My hobbies are reading, studying, dancing, swimming, jogging, and traveling.

My Business

Since my intentions have been to enter into large-scale farming, I have
secured over ten acres of land for vegetables and nursing crops, to be shared equally with
my family. I was motivated by the fact that you cannot do without
vegetables. Vegetables are profitable in our town here and my farm is
located near the market center, which helps me to get more profit. I use
30% of the profit for reinvestment into my production. But, so far, I
cannot hire more laborers because of financial difficulties, which makes
it hard to cultivate even more crops. So, I need this $200 to by vegetable seedling my vegetable production
