My names are Martin Nganga Ndungu. I am a born again christian and very committed in serving the Lord. I was born in Nakuru at a small town called Rongai. I attended my elementary primary school at this area and the joined secondary school where I sat for my Kenya certificate of Secondary School. After school I shifted to Nairobi. I did a six months course in business management. This was a certificate course it could not secure me a good job and thus I decided to use the skills acquired to run a business. I therefore started running a retail shop at Embakasi. I am married with two kids and living in plot number 224.
I run a retail shop at Embakasi and it is a good business, This area has a high population and thus running a business like this one would require high initial capital and on the other hand the profits from the business is quite good. I have been able to stock well in my business and it is well established at the estate of Embakasi. I get my stock from Nairobi town. Capital to expand the business is always a challenge but it I know that this loan that I will get the loan from Zidisha micro-finance will be of very great help.
It is such a honour to be funded by Zidisha organization.
I would like to use the loan that I will be granted to; Firstly, to increase the stock of the products that I sell in my retail shop. Secondly, I wish to introduce grocery in my shop and hope that this will improve and expand my customers. Thus I will be able to serve more customers and will increase my revenues.
