I am Jane Atieno born in 1985 at Uyoma Kobong’ village, Siaya County in Kenya. I attended Pala primary school where I did my KCPE and got a certificate thereafter I joined Fast link computer training centre in Mbita and got Certificate in Computer applications.
I have experience a lot of difficulty towards my success. I am a total orphan who was left at a tender age and lived with my uncle who could not afford paying my education fees to further my education. My life experience has been through agonistic walk that I had gone through since my parents departed. I had come to a situation whereby getting something to eat is a dream of the day. This situation forced me to work for various people in the homestead just to get something small for daily living. Through God’s grace I managed to save whatever I got from the hard work.
I came with a mind of starting a business after sharing my story with well-wishers who could urge me to continue and never to lose hope for such a walk is also part of life. One day a well-wisher called me and suggested that I start small business. She agreed to help me raise money and start a computer shop being that I had experience to operate computer shop. She organized for a fund drive and we managed to purchase 2 computers and a printer. She helped me find a room in Mbita town and subsequently started to offer computer services. Today the business has picked on well and by the help of Zidisha I have managed to serve more customers.
This loan am applying for will be used to purchase a binding machine worth KES 5000, Scanning machine worth KES. 5000, and Printing papers KES 1500. As at now I am in need of the the mentioned equipment and if purchased then I will be able to meet the required demand of customers as at now.
