About Me

I was born in Thies in 1974, a region situated in central Senegal. I
grew up in that region until I reached the age to be married. I moved
to Dakar with my husband in the marital home. My husband is self
employed and works for the port of Dakar. I have 2 daughters and 3
sons and we all live together. I have 3 brothers and 3 sisters and my
parents live in the north of the country precisely at Fouta, an
area dominated by the Peulh people. I sell from the deck of my house.
Because of all my relationships in the community I am involved in
diverse organizations for women.

My Business

My enterprise is selling food stuff. I sell “Mil Bouilli”, “Des Fonte”, “Thiere, Niebe and fruit juices. I sell the Mil Bouilli plate 200FCFA, the Lakh 300FCFA and I earn on average a total of 6000FCFA. I spend 4000FCFA per day. I am making a 2000FCFA of profit everyday. With the Zidisha loan I would like to increase my enterprise

About Me

je suis née à thiès dans la région centre du sénégal en 1974. J'ai grandi dans cette région jus qu'à l'age de mon mariage où j'ai rejoind mon mari à Dakar puis prés depuis lors je vis à dakar dans la maison conjucale de mari qui est un employé du port autonome de Dakar. J'ai 2 filles et 3 garçons avec qui nous vivons tous ensemble. j'ai trois frère et soeurs et mes parents parents sont de la région du nord au Sénégal plus précisément au Fouta une région de dominance ethnie peulh. Je vend sur un tablier devant ma maison.
Dans le cadre de mes relations dans le quartier je suis impliqué dans diverses organisations de femmes du quartier.

My Business

Mon activité économique est le commerce et la vente de denrées alimentaires. je vends mil bouillié, des fonté, du thièré, du nièbé, des jus de fruits. Je vends le plat du mil bouillie à 200FCFA, le lakh à 300FCFA, je gagne en moyenne 6000FCFA par jour et je dépense par jour 4000FCFA et je fait un bénéfice de 2000FCFA. Avec le pret zidisha je prévoit d'augmenter mon commerce
