My name is leguka teeka, am 26 years old a single mother to 3 year old son. I was born in Kajiado in Ngong. I attended sarare primary school then later Ngong hills secondary. I was not able to further my education because my parents were low income earners.
I started training hairdressing in one of the salons near me.
After learning for 2 years I gained the skills and was able to get a small space where I practiced.
Around 2015 I met the father to my child everything was OK till I got pregnant, he got so abusive to a point I feared for my life and that of my kid.
For our safety I decided to relocate to kisii where the residents have been very kind.
I was able to continue my hairdressing business which has cartered for all my needs and that of my child.
I own a small salon where I do all kind of hairdressing. I over blow dry, chemical treatments, hair dying and braiding.
I have run the business for almost 4 years now, there has been challenges but I have managed to get enough clients to sustain my business.
There equipments that I don't have yet, I hope with your help I'll be able to grow my business and make it better.
It's my sincere hope that you are doing good, let express my gratitude for the support you have been giving me.
I would like to request for your support once again to help me expand my business in aspects of adding ladies accessories and shoes to sell alongside my salon business, I will also use part of the loan to add the beauty products I started selling from my previous loan.
Being able to have multiple sources of income will help me service my loans quickly and also guarantee my growth since I will be having a back up plan incase one fails.
Am requesting for a loan of kes 68000 which I will invest as follows:
1.add stock for beauty products ie shampoo braids, gel and hair products for kes 20000
2. Ladies accessories ie earrings, bracelets and jewelry like necklaces I will invest kes 25000
This will help me get a variety and different sizes.
3. Ladies under clothes ie bras and panties I will invest kes 15000
5. And finally invest the remaining kes 8000 on ladies sandals.
I have been keen and done enough research on this and since most of my customers are ladies it will be easy for me to market my new products.
Thanks again for your continued support and be blessed.
I have been able to adopt to the new environment after the pandemic, i started to offer home services which has really boosted my business, and with the covid-19 curve going down in the country the fear most people had is disappearing too and am seeing more clients coming back to the salon, also being able to add new products like selling beauty products has boosted my in a way that I have more sources of income which has helped in paying my past loan on time.
