My names are John K. Kinyua born in 1984 2nd Oct having a small business in town of Naivasha. I am from a family of three brothers and one sister, both are in different horns of Kenya, my sister being the last born she is married with four children. She is also a business woman who purchase clothes, new shoes from a foreign country bordering Kenya, Uganda and have a market place in Kenya.
Second born is my brother who is a local farmer living in Kiambu with his family.
Am the third born, am ambitious i have a faith i will be a big businessman in future with a target of being a self employed.Doing something very different as many fellow youth only ought after collage, universities to be employed.thank a lot Zidisha.
I have been in a business for a period of two and a half years. Before I decide to start a business I first lay out a research and find out the ladies tend to go to market often, man rarely. Ladies strictly stick to fashion, while men rarely do. with this research and many more i choose to stand a business of ladies in nature. (selling shoes and some clothing). My business earns an average of ksh.15000 per month and more of the amount at the end of the year IE (October, November and December). The risk that will mostly occur is that at times i do sell my goods at a hire purchase so it delay to add stock.business is the only way in Kenya.sometimes back i only relayed on employment but i find out is not lucky on me because it was on contract basis, so solution for that was to self- employment.what i do like in the business is that i will work for long hours than the Kenya recommended hours for people employed.moreover in case of emergency or an avoided circumstance i can either close my business or someone help on that.thanks alot Zidisha and Lenders.
With this amount am requesting to the lenders, I am going to increase my current stock with at least more new ladies fashion, clothes. Am also planning to introduce some gents fittings and also ladies shoe wear. I will also be able to increase my savings with a slight percentage of at least 10.2% from the previous amount. My current business status so far is doing alright and am trying at my very best to make it more productive that is (profit wise).
