About Me

Am a proud father of five, two daughters and three sons. Am a successful chicken farmer for the last five years with ten youth employed and I have been able to educate all my children to university level, but I have been unable to expand due to luck of access of loan facility. Then I was told about zidisha and this was an eye opener and also a chance to succeed and expand on my new venture on onion farming. This will not only make an impact to my life but also to the country and also to the community by creating more jobs to the youth.

My Business

As I have mentioned above I have been a farmer for the past five years. I have been keeping poultry and this has been a great success as I have been able to educate my children to university level but have been unable to expand to other ventures. I have unused 1/4 acre of land that I want to plant red onions as the market is unexploited and in demand. This is a venture that I had done before and was successful but on small scale now the 1/4 acre this will bring 1000kg and will sell them a kg at 50 sh on the lower scale. I believe with zidisha platform this will be another great success story and another success from zidisha

Loan Proposal

I am in poultry business for the last five years which have helped me to educate my children up to university levels.My first loan which i got from Zindisha helped me to add red onions to my land and they are now about to mature and am expecting a bumper harvest.Thanks to Zindisha family.
During my first loan i was not able to communicate properly with my lenders due to the distance i had to walk to get internet services which was also very poor.Now in our area we have been connected with electricity and expect to increase our business and communication to the world also.
Therefore the loan am applying i will buy a laptop worth about 350$ and a good mobile phone which can take clear photos worth about 100$, plus get internet connection. With that first, i will be able to communicate with my lenders and send them photos of my expanding business and also i will be able to do freelance writing at night instead of retiring to bed early as i am doing now.That will be an extra income for me plus my usual business i will comfortably be able to pay this loan.I t will also greatly assist me because i will have an extra job to do in my free time.
I would like to promise my lenders that i will never let them down because they have given me a new lease of life and hope to excel to higher heights which i have only been dreaming of but now know it is possible with Zindisha holding my hands and assisting me to achieve them.
