About Me

I was born in a rural town in kenya called kipsitet found in rift valley province in kericho county.i spent most of my childhood observing my parents as they did farming, though at the point in time it was basically subsistence farming.and as i grow up i had that passion and thats why i turned it into a money making venture.
I m a high school accountant the moment where am mostly involved with keeping of school financial records records of all nature.am a qualified accountant and hold a diploma in accountancy from knec.

My Business

At the moment,am doing horticulture farming i.e.,tomatoes,sukuma wekii [kales], spinach as well as maize farming.ok,i farm anything which is in the season and which has the prospect of giving good returns.at fast i did not put a lot of concentration but after some time when i realised it was giving me some good money i then fully turn it into a business of which i am doing it today.
Most of the profits i get from the business i have invested back into it by expanding the size of the farm by ploughing more because my grandfather had a big portion of land which is mostly idle.i have also purchased some farm machinery for irrigation .at the moment i m saving money as i want to venture into poultry farming specifically layers as my home is few kilometers to kisumu town and 30min drive to kericho town.

LOAN PROPOSAL.
so far so good i have stated it off the poultry farming, specifically now layers for eggs but i still have to expand the housing for new chicks, partition it into at least four portions and buy more chicks and its starting food.
The money i get from this loan i will top up with my small savings and buy more layers mash. the total cost of buying layers mash is estimated it around ksh 40,000.

Loan Proposal

Hi, will use the loan advanced to me to purchase layers mash for my poultry farm and also to renovate the chicken structures. This will provide conducive environment for the layers and chicks hence reducing stress for the layers thus enhancing increased productivity.

Am very sorry to you my lenders and zidisha team at large, have not been able to pay my loan as required as my project of keeping layers collapsed, since the layers I had bought all were infected with unknown disease and all died, but have purchased others 3weeks old and are doing well . Kindly bear with me I promise to set my records clean as I will start repaying my loan come next week. Thanks

Hi zidisha, I have mistakenly canceled my loan as I want to adjust the installment amount. And it is now indicating the loan is fully repayed yet I had only paid ksh 7900 , now what was asking if it can be reversed so that I can continue repaying it because I cancelled it mistakenly. Or what is the way forward now. Kindly help please.
    Thanks,
    Benard.

      Dear Kipkorir,

That isn’t possible. Your 13.160 KES MLF payment of 8 February is now used to repay this loan. Your loan is fully repaid and you should be able to ask for a new loan.
