About Me

I was born in Dakar in 1984. I am single, child of parents originating in the Kolda region in the south of Senegal. I have nine brothers and sisters, of which six are brothers and three are sisters. I am a 3rd-year student. I am requesting this loan in order to develop a business generating revenue and allowing me to develop my own company. Currently I am in practice at an infirmary and I am waiting for the Zidisha loan in order to start up my poultry farming business since the Zidisha loans can help beginning borrowers grow. The commercial strategy that I will use to get around the competition is to present the chickens in the commercial arena

My Business

I’m developing a business to generate revenue. I would like to develop a poultry farming project in my home on the patio. I hope to do poultry farming. I will buy 200 chicks in order to raise them over a period of 45 days and sell them. The selling price for a chicken is 3000 FCFA, making revenue of 600000 FCFA. I predict investment expenses of 50000 FCFA, so 200000 FCFA will go toward the purchase of chicks and their feed. I will sell them to restaurants, fast food chains and to the population of Unit 17.

Loan Proposal

The loan will have as principal objective to develop a poultry farming project. I expect to buy some two-day-old chicks, food for fowl, and I hope to also buy some troughs. This project will earn me profits that I can use to repay the loan without difficulty in four periods during the year.

Dear lenders, my name is Bayle and I am a Country Liaison Intern with Zidisha.

I wanted to take a moment to update you about our contact with Mr. Diatta.
He has had some problems with his business over the past few months. However, he was in contact with our staff earlier this week and apologized for being late. He expects to pay on September 15th, so you should receive a payment from him soon.

Mr. Diatta, I hope your business is improving for you!

I wish to get an extra month for my next repayment! This request is due to the fact that I should move my chicks in a larger premises for sufficient disposal of waste products and such. It should also be noted that in this new space, I could dramatically increase my production and thus increase my profits.
Thank you in advance for your understanding.
