About Me
My name is Njeri Wachira, born in Muranga County in Central highlands of Kenya. I am the first born in a family of 5. I am married to Mr. Wachira and we are blessed with one baby girl. I was born in an area where the main activity is coffee farming as well as food crop production.
I was taken to school where I did 8 years of primary school and then 4 years of secondary school. I later joined a nursing school where I did a course in nursing. I qualified as a registered nurse and I was posted in government in Mombasa where I worked for several years.
All this time I had a strong desire to join music industry and this led me to quit my job and join my husband who is music producer in his business. We are both musicians and we have one album to our name.
We also run a music store which serves as an outlet for our music and for other artists.
My Business
My business deals with music production - both audio and video. My typical day involves recording music in audio and video using studio machines into CDs, VCD, DVDs and other formats. This is a labor intensive job and I have a team of 4 (including my husband) who deal with various stages of production.
I have been in this business in many years and my company is now well known in the region and we are always assured of continuous flow of business throughout the year.
I only deal with Christian music due to my religious convictions.
Our income is about $1,800 per month but most of this goes into operations costs. I use the balance to run the family budget.

It will benefit me in a way that i will just be shooting video at a comfort of my studio.
i will not be moving to far distances to get video clips for clients who are doing music videos.
profit will increase because i will not spend fuel or bus fare to a far place for a site for video shoot.
secondly time saved is money recovered.
thirdly will atract more clients other people who are doing video will be hiring the place.
I also able to get best shoots because i already have one light if i get the second one it will eliminate shadow that giving out a clearer shoot because video its all about lighting.
Also in door shoots require lights expecialy shooting with canoon.
This all is profit of up to 20%
