About Me

Hello am Charles Kerina from Kenya, Kilifi County. As a child i grew up in an extended family with around 12 of my cousins. We could work at the farm after school so as to get bread on the table. This inspired me to start farming for vegetables to help fed the less privileged in our community.

My Business

I farm vegetables such as tomatoes, spinach, kales, onions and cabbages. With an investment of $ 1000.00 I can make a 40% profit after tax deductions and paying all workers (included agriculture experts). I use 40% of the proceeds to help the needy students from a local school called Majaoni Prinary School. The remaining 60% is ploughed back to the business.

Loan Proposal

If my proposal is approved i will implement the following budget:
1. Fertilizers
50 US $
2. Seedlings
15 US $
3. Pesticides
25 US $
4. Transportation
35 US $
5. Extra labour
25 US $
6. Additional farming tools
40 US $
7. Miscellaneous. 20 US $

After all cultivation is done the community stands to benefit even more. I will be able to meet their demand fully. Moreso i will be able to employ more workers atleast three. And make a weekly profit of 40 US $.
