About Me

My name is John ndegwa, in our language kikuyu in Kenya, the word ndegwa means a bull cow. I'm the third child in my late father's family. My both parents died late 80s. I helped to raise my youngest brother and sisters who were left by our parents when young. Having not being Soo much educated I didn't get a good job, so I became just a business man.

My Business

I'm a young contactor in building. I started the business due to my talent in building since from school. During my learning in school, there was a subject taught known as art and craft. I learned to build walls made of mud bricks in school. This is how I got interested in massonary work. Later, when I grew up, I started building houses for payment to people in my neighborhood. It later came to be my eaning business. It has helped me to raise a family.

Loan Proposal

With the loan I'm going to buy 8 new wheelbarrows for renting. It will be pay me much because one wheelbarrow is paid 300 sh per day. The profit got will be added to profit got from other machines to bring much payment to help paying the loan.

Income Source

This wheelbarrows will make more earnings. I have done enough research and found that given good management together with other machines the profit will be enough to pay my loan. This will attract many customers because it simple to rent one than to buy. It is simple to maintain them because they need little maintenance.

    My business income changed after the last rainy season in our area. This was after the rain damaged most of my already made bricks. Due to the damage, I got much loose which I haven't recovered.

    I haven't fully recovered from the loss I got when it heavily rained. Many bricks got destroyed. The rain has now stoped. I'm hoping to recover soon.

    We have been receiving heavy rainfall in our area that is making it impossible to my brick making business to go on. This has reduced my income because I don't have a shade for keeping my bricks.

    In our area it's raining too much. There's floods every where. Everything has come to a standstill. Even some blocks that we had made has been destroyed. We're hoping the rain will stop soon.

    With the last zidisha loan, I bought an intelocking block making machine. I'm now making much money. The profit made is used to do some savings. For now I want to add the savings to the funds that I'm hoping to get from the new loan and buy a motorcycle. My family is doing well.     The last loan from zidisha, helped me to buy an intelocking block making machine. I made this decision when I realized that in our building blocks has become a problem. Natural quallies are rarely found. Now this business is making money. Thank you lenders.
