About Me

I am George Owusu, born on May 4, 1972. I come from Adense in the Kwabre East District in Ashanti Region. I am married with four children. I have completed second cycle education and I am now at my final year at the University of Cape Coast pursuing a Diploma in Basic Education. I am a recognized farmer within my District and the nation as a whole. I have a passion for reading and music.

My Business

I am a farmer and I have received two awards. In 2005, I received the District Best Award for Grass cutter at the Kwabre District comprising of eighty-six communities. At 2012, I received the District Best Award for Citrus at Kwabre East. I now own eleven acres of citrus plantation, two acres of coconut plantation and two acres of mixed food stuffs. I have the zeal to expand my grass cutter production, add rabbits to it, give professional care and maintenance to the citrus farming and start small-scale processing of the oranges in the future.

Thank you, Zidisha Team. Thank you, my Lenders for your acceptance and support, among others, which has helped me so much and has opened a new door of financial relief. Thank you also for your constant reminding of repayment dates which also helps me to be creditworthy and responsible. Your support has helped me, my family, friends and my community at large.

Loan Proposal

I am now requesting for a loan of $970.00 to help me send my two daughters and one of my sons to new schools to better their academic performance. Before meeting Zidisha I was managing and coping with the current schools they are attending. But now that Lenders and Zidisha Team is solidly behind me I am sure and hope that I can make it. I will use the money to cater for all their needs as far as changing their schools is concern.
If the request loan is given, I will be able to cater for the family, the farm among others without any financial stress.
