I am John Boakye. I am from Nsuta Mampong in the Ashanti region of Ghana in West Africa. I had my elementary school at Nsuta M/A Primary School in my hometown. I was able to complete the elementary school but I could not continue school because of family financial problems. I am now a married man with two kids. My goal is to provide for my family.
My Business
After being introduced by a friend and reading about Zidisha, I have come to acknowledge the fact that it is really here to help the world. After I researched about commodities that are fast-moving consumer goods, I discovered selling eggs and chicken is a good business. I have acquired land and have built a structure that can house about 500 birds, but I need to expand the business. I have to put up another structure that can house about 1000 birds. This structure is 60% complete.
Loan Proposal
With this loan, I am going to purchase bird feeds. I need a loan of 270 USD to buy all the feeds. I am going to buy: maize, fish, copra cake, rice bran and other things needed to prepare my poultry feeds. This feed is going to help my birds to lay more eggs. Thank you so much.
