About Me

Am Beatrice Emali Masette from sango village in Lugari district in kakamega county. Am actually a first-born daughter in our family. I went to a school far from my home district. The school is called St.Bridgids girls secondary school in kiminini -Bungoma county. I also attended mutual primary school and my performance was excellent. I advanced to tartiary level and specialized in farming. Am now a good farmer who deals with bee farming. I actually attribute this success to my grandfather who encouraged me to do Agriculture /farming and I did exactly as he advised. After tartiary education I decided to employ myself since kenyan government takes ages to absorb its citizens into government payroll.

My Business

I acquired farming skills and decided to deal with bee farming as I knew that honey is on high demand, highly nutritional and also expensive hence an advantage on my side. It requires special skills in order to deal with bees . Bees are extremely dangerous especially if mishandled. I get enough profit to enable my business grow and my family too. I highly depend on this honey to pay my business rent and also make sure my children are not in and out of school due to lack of fees. The typical cost include buying special attire for the job otherwise bees would become unmanageable and cause much harm. Bees are also useful in pollination of flowers hence very useful at homes.

Loan Proposal

I do bee farming but currently I only have three bee hives which are not enough at all. Each bee hive in the market can cost a lot of money but I have a friend who offered to sell me at cheaper price. He agreed to sell at 30 dollars each. so if I buy around three more it will cost me 90dollars. I will also add one more extra spare bee hive so that I use it whenever I notice that bees have multiplied and overcrowded. sometimes they overcrowd, attack homes looking for water hence pause danger to human life. I total I will request 120 USD
