Am Eric Asamoah , 35 years of age and a graduate of Bechem business collage, a good entrepreneur whose aim is to build my own business. All I do is the sales of mobile phones and accessories which I travel to one of cities here in Ghana to buy, I distribute to some individual shop owners within the town. But now however, my aim is to cross boarder to other districts in the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana. I currently work at the district office of Social Development and Improvement Agency (SODIA) a local Non-Governmental Organization as assistant programme officer in the Tain district. I like selling and trading in general and as such selling of these products from about five years ago is what has kept me to this moment and seen me through my education. At the moment i have a shop where i sell these products, though very small it is my dream to see it grow. i have someone who is helping me out at the shop and paying him monthly.
I come from Kintampo in the Brong Ahafo region of Ghana and the first of eight children born to my parents. I however grew up in northern region of Ghana and specifically Tamale where I had all basic education, growing up from a large family like mine wasn't easy but through commitment and hardwork which was instilled in me by my father I never gave up but saw beyond the sky as my limit. I got introduced to a friend whose father was a mobile phones dealer who employed me to work at his shop and after some years I decided to establish my own business from the savings I had made from my pay and within a short period though there were challenges but the business grew and saw me through my tertiary education and has been since then.
I currently live in Nsawkaw which is located in the Tain district of the Brong Ahafo region. It is a very cosmopolitan community with people from different backgrounds. The major form of economic activity here is farming and trading.
I am in the sales of mobile phones and accessories, which people love to buy every day from my shop and this is generating a good profit for me and as such I want to expand my business and expand to other districts in the region and to also serve as an avenue to employ others who have no work to do. I currently have a shop at Nsawkaw where I have a shop attendant who is effectively working hard for me and as such my customers are really appreciative of my services.
I would be glad to get this loan to be able to get access to other districts in order to be able to fight the unemployment situation around here and also be able to make good profit so as to be able to pay back. I promise to execute and respect the rules and regulation of this noble
I thank lenders for helping me to raise my first loan to buy mobile phone accessories to stock my shop. The first loan has helped me a lot because customers gets what they want from my shop and that increased my income 30% to 80% at end of the three months period. 60% was reinvested into my business and the remaining 20% was used to take care of family basic needs. I wish to apply for a second loan to add more mobile phone accessories to stock my shop so that customers will get the quantities they always seek to buy from me.Below are the accessories I intend to buy with their respective cost in dollars,
Earphones $50.00
Phone batteries $98.00
Phone covers $50.00
Screen protectors $50.00
Phone chargers $53.00
The total cost will be $301.00. In return it will increase my customer and profit base. I promise to abide by all rules and regulations governing it when the loan is funded. Thank you.
