I was brought and raise in transnzoia county in family of five siblings, two boys and three girls. I had a challenging childhood in village where my parents were peasants farmers who educated me up to college levels.
My education background date back in 1993, where I started schooling in local primary school called kapkoi sisal primary school, where I study from nursery school to class eight. In 2003, I sat my Kenya Certificate of Primary Education and excel well and join a local
secondary school where I sat my Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education final exams and later join beauty college.
I had a hard life in my childhood but with aid of my parents and well wisher I managed to go to school up to college level but life was tough on my side and always thank God for starting my business and paying schools for my two young brothers and my kid.
I started my Local breed poultry business in 2012 in moisbridge town after employed for one year in salon. I started my business from my savings and grants from constituency development fund and established a
salon and cosmetic business. I started my business with capital of Ksh.5,000 which I used to 10 hens, 2 cockerels and building a small shed.
I live in friendly community that coexist peacefully and assist one another in during happy and sad moments.
I have one daughter who is in class one, when she grow up she want to be a teacher and business woman.
During my free time I do garden farming and love travelling, cooking and visiting the elderly people in my community.
I do small scale local breed poultry farming in moisbridge town, I looking financial assistance to boost this business and I pay the loan from salary I get from salon job.
Moisbridge town is growing town and there's high demand of local breed chicken meat in hotels, hospitals and schools. The demand is high because the meat is healthy resulting to high demand of chicken meat and eggs.
I started this business because I do love agribusiness and I want to provide healthy food to my family and my society in general.
The expected profit is Ksh. 15,000 after selling meat and eggs and I will use part of it to pay school fees of my younger brothers and my kid, save Ksh 2000 for school fees and spent Ksh. 5000 on food and rent.
The remain one I reinvest back to business.
I take opportunity to thank all lender for financing in my business. I take this opportunity to borrow $200 to top up in my saving to buy 100 laying hens. The profit I will obtain from sell of eggs from flocks of my hens will enable pay the loan on time. I will increase profit margin by $ 100 per month.
