About Me

I am Dorine Akinyi, I am the the only child in my family,my mother died at my birth and so I grew up with my step mum .she was nice and took good care of just like her own. I went to Ezra gumbe primary school and joined lwak girls for A-levels.I then went to Ashley college where I trained as beautician and hair dress.
After completing my course ,I wanted to open my own saloon but I had financial challenges. I could not raise the money require for initial capital investment. I worked as an assistant in a saloon in town for 1 year and was able to raise $200 that I used to purchase basic equipment's and pay rent. I lowered my prices for the first two months as a marketing strategy . I attracted a good number of customers to my shop and the did good quality job, after three months customers could always queue for my services.
I have one child and she is only 6 months. I love and she keeps growing very fast.
I love basketball and during my free time I train youths on basketball. I also watch documentaries .

My Business

I provide beauty and hairdressing services. my saloon provides weaving, hairdressing, manicure, pedicure and face scrubbing. I am looking forward to introducing massage in the near future.
The need need for beauty and beauty products is always high and the demand has been rising with time due to increased population .
I choose these business because I had passion in the beauty industry and so far I am glad and happy to do these job.
my monthly typical costs are $100 for rent and electricity and also for water. My monthly revenues are $200-$300 per month.
I use my profits to support my aunt, pay fees for my nephew, and reinvest i the business.

Loan Proposal

Dear lenders ,I am requesting for a loan to buy a solar drier for my saloon. My current drier has been broken and is giving hard times. I would add the loan to my savings and buy standard long lasting solar drier. these would help increase my monthly sales. Thanks in advance
