About Me

My name Stephen Kingara Njoroge, i went to Ngaraaa Primary school in Eldoret and proceeded to Wareng High school still in Eldoret. I came from a family of four, three girls and i happened to be the only son in our family. I am the second born in our family. My high school life was greatly affected by financial problems when my father passed on when i was in form two. He had cancer which lead ti his death. I therefore had to struggle to pay my school fees by working during the holidays and also support my sisters and mother who is a farmer at home.
I performed well in my form four exams but did not make to go to the university because of financial problems. I had some personal saving which i used to start a gym training room i was greatly helped and encouraged by my mother who also gave some of her saving to help start the gym training room.

My Business

I offer training services to people who came every day in the morning and in the evening for training. i charge 1 us dollar per head for every training session which take around 3 hours. The service that i offer to people are very useful because for healthy living to be ensured, people must do training to maintain their bodies and also shape. Those who go to work and have tight schedule throught the day attend training session in the morning as from 5 AM while other came for training anytime in course of the day.
I choose this kind of business because around our place their was no any single room offering Gym services to the locals thus i thought starting it would greatly help the locals and also help them keep fit and by and large generate income for me.
I used 500 Us dollars to acquire equipment for the gym but i have not fully equipped the room because the money i had was not enough. Therefore i wanted to request for some funds to help me equip the room fully.
i intend to use the profits generated to reinvest into the business, educate my other siblings and also support my mother in her farming work back at home

Loan Proposal

I am planning to use the loan if granted to buy a hammer strength machine which costs 200 Us dollars. Granted 50 Us dollars, i will add my personal savings of 150 Us dollars to aid in buying the hammer strength machine.
This will help the locals who lift heavy machines to add more strength to their muscles and also i will be in a position to generate more and more income from the locals.
i expect to make a profit margin increase from 300 Us dollars every month to 500 Us dollars every month.
