My name is Jeremiah Gicharu Maina, most of my friends call me “Jere’’ others Jeremy and I like it that way. I come from a big family of nine that is my both parents mum and dad, four brothers myself included and of course my three lovely sisters. Our homeland is Mbugiti Village that is located in Central part of Kenya, our nearest Town is Thika some few kilometers From the capital Nairobi. We now live in our family plot in Mazeras Town a small and fast growing town in Kilifi county in Coast region of Kenya. I had the privilege of going to school both Primary School and Secondary where I did both National certificate exams, thanks to my parents. Unfortunately, I didn’t go to college since my parents had to first educate and take care of my little brothers and sisters, though I am still hopeful. I am now working hard to see if I will get enough to pay for my college fee , my wish and hope is that I will one day.
I started with fresh cow milk supply in my small town Mazeras, which was very successful until recently when some of my suppliers started a raw deal. My milk will then go bad thereby counting huge loses since I was taking lots of this milk. Since I have now learned how to repair mobile phones I have joined the industry. One fact is that this is the best choice of business I guess that will really work for me, some problem that I get from customers requires very little time and effort to work on thereby if I establish a proper base for customers more and more profits will be flowing in. On a serious note am doing this as a my profession.
I also like farming ,having parents who have a good background of farming , I had that interest to also try it out. Though it is sometimes tiring and tricky ( for instance when attacked by a disease ) there are good profits in it. My brother and I have joined hands and started keeping poultry we most of the time keep broiler(for meat) we tried layers which didn’t wok well since they were attacked and a lot of them died.
It's another opportunity that I am posting my third loan . I thank all lenders in my first and second loan, the loans were of great help in making my business successful. I want to use this third loan to buy a motorbike. This will reduce some costs that i incur when boarding Matatus(buses) when going to fetch the milk.It will also help me deliver my products to my customers efficiently This will also enable me reach more customers from far areas. The motorbike will cost me around $1115 plus its insurance of $70. I plead to lenders to help me in this venture and i will be thankful.
