I am Robert, i grew up in a remote village in Limuru town a place called Kamirithu, i happened to get educated at Kamirithu primary school, joined Kinale secondary school. my education ended at that point because of lack of money to pay my school fee.
I worked very hard in school with one mind set, that i am the one to make the difference in my life and at home. Despite the lack of money, i promised myself never to give up.
After school, i went to Nairobi to help my aunt in her business, i was very motivated by the way people we doing business in town. Everybody was busy looking for money. I got encouraged by that and opted to start up my own. Out of the money that i used to get as salary, i made serious savings for a period of two years and i was in a position to start my own small business. I started a small shop in town where i sale home supplies and house hold items.
I am yet to be blessed by kids. My hobby travelling and making new friends.
I sale house hold items like utensils, ranging from cups, plates, flasks, spoons among others. I also so home supplies where i sale items like door mats, curtains, bed sheets among other items.
This goods are useful because they help make our living comfortable. They enhance our ability to eat and live well. It is on demand on the other hand because of the uniqueness of my products. I get my items from outside the country and because of that i am able to make many customers.
I chose the business because of the demand. I came to establish that with the high population of female in Nairobi, i will be able to win many customers from selling items mostly related with the feminine gender.
I use the profits that i get to take care of my parents back at home, my siblings and also reinvest back into the business. My stock has increased and for that reason i wish to shift from my current shop to a new shop which is bigger than my current shop.
I will use this funds given to support my kiosk. I have a dream of selling cold drinks in my shop and when i get this loan, i will use the money to buy a new refrigerator that goes for 180 us dollars in tye market.
I will be able to store and sell cold drinks like, Milk, Soda and even fresh juice. Thank you so much as i look to continue working with you people
