About Me

I am a native of Berekum in the Brong Ahafo region of Ghana. I am 30 years and someone who has seen it hard through life. I have obtained certificate in medical laboratory technology and currently works as a laboratory technician at Debibi health centre which is in the Train district of Bring Ahafo region of Ghana. I am unmarried and someone who strongly believes that despite all the challenges in life, will be able to make it and impact my generation. For this this reason, I strongly believe in entrepreneurship. I am someone who loves farming an believes it is one of the main driving forces of the economy. I started being independent in life as early as age 18 and I single handedly funded my education. I believe one day, I will be able to impact my generation and those after so that poverty will be alleviated from my society.

My Business

I am into the business of buying and selling farm produce especially cashew crop. Right from my infancy, I have loved doing farming and I usually help my father who is a cocoa farmer on the farm. I decided to buy cashew crops from farmers and sell it to exporters and other local processing companies. Cashew crops can be used in brewing wine, making a local biscuit, used as a desert and served to customers in hotels and so on. Farmers in my locality are mainly into growing cashew and usually get low value for their toils. My business is therefore to remove this gap and also create a little employment for the youth in the locality. I hope even through zidisha, investers will be noticed and to invest in cashew farming since it has great market value.

Loan Proposal

I would like to apply for a loan to buy cashew crops from farmers and sell to exporters and other local processing companies. This is to enable the farmers get value for their money. Cashew crops is bought around 3.5 GHC. I will therefore need this loan urgently to be able to help me achieve this goal. Thank you.
