About Me
Am young 24 years old a husband and a father of one daughter now 6 weeks old self motivated and self driven in achieving goals that I set up myself. Born in Nairobi in a loving family of five, one brother and two sisters. My dad pasted on while I was a kid and since then I have seen my mother struggling through to take us to school and without a doubt she did a great job being a single mother. I finish high school and took a course in mechanic after that I employed my self servicing vehicles in Nairobi city I often go at home in Limuru at our farm where I decided to help my family as a first born son. I took this initiative boldly and since then I have never regretted.
My Business
As I have mentioned my main source of income is the job that I do as a mechanic in Nairobi city. I make a proximately 117 usd after expenses I make approximately 60 usd. As this was not that sustainable I took up farming in our 2 acre farm that was left to us by our father 3 years ago I have been keeping local chicken in small scale and planting up maize. But maize was not doing that much so I decided to deal with greenhouse I wanted to plant tomatoes and capsicum. I have already build the greenhouse but still remaining with an air net. This have slowed down since I was blessed with a daughter now 6 weeks old and have been unable to complete the greenhouse. Then I was told about zidisha where dreams are made reality and I thought yes I would also wish to be part of it and see my dream come true to complete my greenhouse and be able to plant as this will help me grow not only me but my people and community at whole and also build a dream for my daughter.
Loan Proposal
Hello zidisha team am back again for another loan like the same loan that I took previously to buy another cow the other one is growing really good and in good condition. Also it is really helping me big time as I have gone green and I use the waste as manure for my green house adding another one will add more great value to me for manure and also planning to build a bio gas and it will be used in the farm for cooking and lighting and it will save great in electricity bills but the bio gas plant will be for my next loan. Also I will be able to sell more milk too. I will not have done it without the zidisha family am so grateful for that. Hope this get funded soon as there is much competition on that calf that I want to buy and have promise the seller who is also a farmer to hold it up for me. I will take this opportunity to thank you in advance.
