About Me

Well, thank you for this opportunity.
Fist I am a middle age man and since my time as a young child was born and brought up in a rural area. I was born as a first born of three and I was taken to school as well.
I managed to go through primary and secondary education. My parents were not well up and relied on farming and rearing livestock to educate and feed us. While in school, used to help my parents with domestic activities like taking cows to the river and cultivation. Later i managed to join a technical training institute for skills and attained my profession in Agriculture and livestock management. I have been looking for a job even with government in vain. I started working in a tea farm as a supervisor where I accumulated some money while saving. I rented a piece of land and started doing horticulture farming. Now I am a happy man doing my own business and that is how came to start my own business. My children would want to be well brought up and get educated to earn skills to be business people. My hobby is watching football and
Helping youths to avoid drugs and embrace one another.
Thank you.

My Business

My business is purely in offering agricultural products mainly horticulture.
I sell fresh farm produce like Tomatoes, cabbages, Kale, Lettuce, Green grams, watermelon E.t.c
These products are all year long on demand because they are vegetable ingredients need as food and for good healthy. They add value to our daily nutrients needed in our body.
I choose this business since i have a good understanding of farming love it as a profession and it gives me my daily bread. My typical costs are mainly cost of buying seedlings, cost of labor, fertilizers, chemicals, transport to the market and equipment like Generator, water pipes and security.
My profit usually goes toward meeting these cost and my personal expenses. I also do take some produce to children homes besides helping my parents.
Thank you.

Loan Proposal

Once I get my next loan, will prepare the land for the coming short rain season and buy the necessary farming and crop inputs.
I will buy Assortment of Agrochemicals for weed and insecticide at a cost of $32.00
I will buy seedlings for various crops such as Tomatoes $24.00, cabbage $18.00, carrot $23.00, Kales at $20.00, passion fruits at $25.00 and Green grams at $21.00.
I will set aside $45.00 for land preparation/cultivation and planting activity.
More important will also be top dress fertilizer, DAP/CAN/Folia Fertilizer all at a cost of $50.00, also I will buy a wheelbarrow at a cost of $25.00 to help me in moving inputs to the farm.
This will be amazing for my next great season which I focus to get a profit of around USD800.00.Now with the available farming requirements I will shoot to a double profit. This will help me greatly in my projection as I will be among the farmers taking these products to the market therefore making me some good money since the supply will be low. I can as well say that I have a hope of source of my next farming expenses and where to expect money to buy my farm inputs.
I will be happy and my profit will increase considerably.
Thank you.
