I am the only female child of my parents, born in Hohoe, Ghana, in the Volta region. I completed J.H.S. in 2011. Since my parents didn't have enough money, I was not able to attend S.H.S., which caused my goal of becoming a nurse not to materialise. Due to that, I started doing petty trading, selling fruits and vegetables. The uniqueness of where I live, from other places, is that we are very God-fearing [God-revering] and also we still hold onto our traditional values. I used to like reading and watching movies.
I sell fruits and vegetables. These goods are useful in the sense that people prepare food day in and day out, and also the fruits help people to get required nutrients into the body.
I incur a cost of GHS/GHC 1,000 in acquiring the stock and the means of transportation, and the revenue after selling the stock is GHS/GHC 1,500.
I need this loan to buy fruits and vegetables for sale and it will help me increase my profit. I am expecting a profit margin of 20%.
I can make payment and in case of risk I will pay the loan with the profit I make from other business.
