About Me

My name is kusi Jame, 23 years old and a proud citizen of Ghana. I come from nsotre in the brong ahafo region of Ghana. I am the first born of my parent . We are five in number. my parents are farmers since they didn't have any education. I started my basic education at nsotreman primary school and also went to secret heart senior high school also at nsotre. With my excellent performance i passed my final examination with distinction.since both my parents are farmers all my educational cost funded from the sales of their farm product. i normally goes to farm to assist my parent during weekend since i was a day student. Due to that, i has acquired skill when it comes to agriculture especially when it come to cocoa farming because my parents are cocoa farmers.After i completed my senior high education my other siblings were also attending school.So its very difficult for me to further my education to the tertiary level. In view of that , i decided to start my own cocoa farm since we have a large land. my hobby is singing, dancing and swimming.

My Business

I am a cocoa farmer, since i wanted to further my education. I started my cocoa farm when i completed my senior high school education. I have now planted cocoa for six years now. With the knowledge i had from my parent and an Agric officer. I bought new cocoa seedlings which normally starts bearing fruit after five years of plantation. Now my farm is bearing fruit . I have no money to buy pesticides and other Agro chemicals to help me Yield more cocoa fruit. I normally make profit of about $ 80 to $90 very week in the cocoa season.The pest and other insects are spoiling the cocoa beans since i have not been spraying my farm. With the little profit i get too i use it to take care of my siblings since my parents are now financially week.

With all humility, i will be grateful if you can lend me a loan to buy pesticide and other agro-chemical to help improve my cocoa farm.my profit will raise to about $100 to $150 when i get pesticides to spray my farm. since i am able to manage all these challenges and always be in profit i know with help from zidisha and their lenders my dreams can be fulfilled i promise you, i am going to payback to your satisfaction. thanks once again.
