About Me

I am a gentleman born and raised in Central parts of Kenya, Nyeri to be precise.
After my high school I moved to Nairobi for my further education and later began working.
I ventured in tourism and majored in Travel Management and now I have earned the skills required of being a professional travel consultant.

Am working to becoming an entrepreneur in Cosmetics Products in Nairobi Kenya and later to Kenya as a whole. Mine is selling products from the fast selling brands in Kenya.

I have however decided to further my studies in Tourism and I know I will get the help I require financially from Zidisha. I have not left my business idea coz am sure when I further my education I will be able to raise more for my business from my salary and also from the help of Zidisha

I believe that in whatever small ways I may contribute to changing the society I am assisting in making the world and in this case more Kenya my motherland a better place to live for me my fellow Kenyans and visitors from other nations.

Being responsible, trustworthy, hardworking, disciplined & focused are some of the values I believe in.

My Business

Rainbow Cosmetics Kenya is the name of my business with its operations in Nairobi. I have been operating the business majorly online through my Facebook Page (Rainbow Cosmetics Kenya) *RCK
I have already registered the company and still working towards having a physical shop.
What does RCK do? I sell cosmetics products from the renowned brands in Kenya and those venturing in the Kenyan market and also having a dream that one day I will also become a manufacturer of some cosmetic products.
I have been in the business for now 1 year but I can say I am yet to exploit the market which is a vast one in Kenya but this has been because I still work so that am able to pay some of the other bills that I the business cannot meet. I however, through the business manage to take care of my families bills that is why I have not given up on it.
I would like that when I start a physical location I will be able to at least change someones life by giving them employment and with this I will have touched someones life directly or indirectly.
I know through Zidisha I will be able to make my dream come true through your funding that I will be receiving.

Loan Proposal

I would like to apply this loan to further my education in Tourism. I am a travel consultant by profession and I would like to add my knowledge to enable me become more competitive in the travel industry.
With the loan I will apply for short courses with IATA (Understanding the Travel customer & Assisting Travelers with Special Needs) at $300 which I believe will enahance my skills and make travelling enjoyable to many.
This may lead to a rise in salary which together with your loans I will be able to boost my cosmetics business which currently is not doing so well due to lack of sufficient capital.
