About Me

At tender age,my parents who were big time farmers would take me to their big cocoa and cashew farms. In school,it developed my interest in farming activities so I did Agricultural science. After Senior High school I went into vegetable farming. I realized that most of the people in my community were big into cash crops such as cocoa and cashew. I am of the view that I can possibly get some profits from this vegetables since their maturity periods are very shot as compared to growing cash crops which are harvested annually. My parents did not like the idea but I have been able to prove them wrong. They visit my farm and commend me for what they see. Now they even support me in my endeavours.

My Business

I grow vegetables such as Cabbage, tomatoes, onions, pepper and okro. These are things that are demanded daily and that is why I entered into it. I went into farming with about Ghs120. Today, I have a business capital of about Ghs10,000. I have been able to buy a tractor to work on my farm through this vegetable farming. I have employed farm assistance who are seen working on my vegetable farming daily. I have bought more Knapsack sprayers to enable me to spray to control weeds and insects. I m also happy when I visit my farm and my workers work very hard because I motivate them well.

Loan Proposal

I want to buy a the following items to ease my work and to produce more of these vegetables for sale if I am granted this loan amount. Tomato seeds $23,cabbage seeds $26, weedicides $34,fungicides $36, Napsack sprayer $45.
