About Me

I am married with four kids, three boys and a girl. I dropped out of my secondary school education while in my first term (Form Two) due to lack of school fees. This was back in 2004. I decided to look for casual labours around my village where I managed to be employed by one lady who was involved in fruits selling.

Having worked and saved some little cash to start with, I decided to start a small business of selling vegetables at our Mbita down town market up to date and my family depends on this business since my husband is unemployed and only does casual labour without stable income.

My Business

I sell vegetables in Mbita down town market and this does well especially during market day and it is always on Thursday. My business is not big is a small one of about $200. I sell tomatoes, sukuma-wiki (kales),, potatoes, carrots, onions, peppers and cabbages. The loan that am applying will enable me to add more vegetables of different varieties and also add fruit business because I see they hard of my customers have asked me several times. This is what am planning to do with the loan as I look forward to growing and expanding in terms of business.

Loan Proposal

I am seeking a loan of KES 24,044 to enable me buy the following food items;
- 30Kgs of onions@ KES 6,000
-80Kgs of Irish Potatoes@KES 7,000
-50Kgs of Cabages@KES 3,000
-40Kgs of tomatoes@KES 3,000
-40Kgs of Kales @ KES 5,000

The food items purchase with the loan will give me a weekly profit of KES 5,000 x 4 = KES 20,000 per month. This is a profit increase of 50%. The loan from ZIDISHA will enable me to expand the business and repay the loan on time while meeting my family financial needs.
