About Me

Am called Joyce Saaneba,a dagaati by tribe and am from the Upper West region of Ghana.I am in my mid thirties and the first child of my parents ,we are six in number.
I am a married woman with one child.
My parents are late of blessed memory. They were farmers.
Growing up my parents were not rich but they taught us how to be hardworking and responsible. Their main source of income was from farming and they did the little they could to help us through secondary education.
Currently am based in Techiman with my husband.
My siblings are also in Techiman and doing their minimal works.
With my hardwork I have been able to put up a container where I sell cooked food for my livelihood.

My Business

My business
---------------------
My business or the work I do is selling of cooked food thus, banku, tuo zaafi, konkonte and rice balls with ground soup with little okro soup.
I must say am a food vendor. Let me explain the food I see in detail.
Banku is a food made from both casssava and maize dough and is mostly eaten by Ghanaians.
Tuo zaafi is also made from grind maize with a okro soup. Konkonte is also made from dry cassava and groundnuts soup and Ghanaians love this food because it provides more energy for their daily works.
Rice ball with groundnuts and palmnut soup is the last food I sell at my shop.
With the structure ,which is the container I moulded and the materials and ingredients for my business and the portion of land am using all sum up to ¢10,000.00(ten thousands Ghana cedis) and am able to make a weekly profit of ¢200-¢300 .My food business is indeed good and it helps my community a lot.

Loan Proposal

I will use the funding to buy ingredients such as tomatoes, pepper, maggi, groundnut paste ,gallon of frytol oil, palm oil,dry meat, roasted meat, plates,a bag of maize for my banku which I will convert to maize dough, cassava dough, tuo zaafi flour,.
And recently I have notice my customers keep asking of rice balls and I think I will add to my menu.
