I,m Rachel wambui from kiambu county am part of a family of five i ave two sisters and a young brother my mum is a farmer and my dad owns a shop where he sales charcoal, i went to limuru township primary school then to st Marys high school after i graduated with a diploma in human resource at mount Kenya university,school life was o some until i finished lack employment and became frustrated after visiting lots of offices searching for jobs only to be told the vacancy has just been field,i began accompanying my mum to the farm and when the season was not good i went to construction sites for lab our jobs ,i like traveling and reading novels along visiting friend.

My Business

my farming business is on a small piece of land where i plant maize,beans and kale's,on a good harvest i get four to five sacks of maize sell them to karanjee primary school at 4000ksh each and three sacks of beans i sell locally at 3000ksh each the kale's i sell directly from the farm and use the case to sustain my basic needs after the sales i make 29000ksh and spend 9000 on fertilizers seedlings and land preparation for the next season,the remaining i use to support my siblings with there education and lease another land besides buying clothes for myself,i plan to double my capital and plant carrots due to customers demand and ready markets in Nairobi town,i also want to start a irrigation scheme so to be persistence in times of dry seasons as i target local groceries {kibandas} and hotels for supply,the business is a good one due to populations increase in the area.

Loan Proposal

if i get this loan ill buy carrots seedling plant them on a fifty by fifty piece of land which i have already leased due to demand and ready markets in Nairobi town i expect a profit of $176 after harvesting as i target 8 sacks of carrots sell them at $30 each ill use the profits to pay the loan buy seedlings at $35 and $25 in preparing the land for the next season this means my life will change as i will have more produce to supply and make more profits.
