My name is David W. Irungu a male Kenyan born in 1990 in Laikipia county. I am a single hardworking gentleman holding a higher Diploma in Graphic Design and Animation from Shang Tao Media Arts College, who is lucky to have started business as early as 19 years old and I have never looked back, and I did my studies while still in business. I am glad I have both parents and siblings all in good health. I am a business oriented person who has put efforts in the following fields like in general printing,Photography,Video coverage and editing,Phone and computer accessories, among others. My business is growing day by day and I make atleast USD590 every month, and add on stock to improve more and more.I am a diehard fun of football and I enjoy swimming as well every weekend. I am a long time area resident of Kahawa Wendani near Kenyatta University in Nairobi County, but my actual home town is Nyahururu. I am also a farmer back at home in Nyahururu, I have a green house where I grow tomatoes, pepper, cucumber and strawberry.
I have a shop at Kahawa Wendani Estate opposite Maguna’s Hyper Supermarket next to Kahawa Wendani stage, the shop registered name is Explod Investments where I specialize in Photography, bulk printing, video shooting and editing computer repair and maintenance. Kahawa is highly populated as it serves as residential for most soldiers from Kahawa Garrison and their families as well as students from Kenyatta University our neighbours, and other working class who commute to Nairobi city every morning thus there is wide and potential market for my services mainly to the students and the schools around. I have created good reputation in the neighborhood who have become my loyal customers over the years. I have two workers one professional IT personnel and the other a qualified graphic and design personnel. I ensure that once I get new customers they get the best quality service so that they can always come back and refer us to their friends. This way the business has increased its profits more and more. The business average monthly profits stand at ksh 50,000 (US Dollars590) and I am looking forward to increase the profitability. My vision is to be a major sort out I.T personnel at Kahawa Wendani, Kahawa Sukari,Githurai, Ruiru and KM market. I intend to use the loan to finance the expansion of the business towards this goal.
If I get the loan I will use it to repair my Photocopier machine which is not working at the moment, it broke down one week ago and I am losing a lot because per day the machine is able to give me profits of up to 7.76 usd on daily basis, or even more. The machine needs approximately 166.21 usd to get in its normal shape and to operate normally. It needs a blade and drum which goes for 50 usd, I need to change the gears which will cost me 70 usd the ADF unit needs to be changed which I have not yet confirmed the exact amount it will cost me, I also need to change the developer which will cost me 55 usd when all these parts are changed I believe my machine will get back to its normal state and produce copies without problems. The loan should also help me buy a dust cover, which I saw it’s important to have to avoid dust on my copier machine; this will avoid spending much on cleaning which is done by special liquids by the experts who repair the machine. I would be very greatful if I get the loan soonest possible to repair the machine on time to avoid the loss I am going through during this time.
