Florence Gedzah is my name and I stay at Tamale in the Northern Region of Ghana. I am married with three kids. My father died when I was very young so prevented it from furthering my education to the secondary level which hindered my childhood dream of becoming a nurse. I was a shop attendant when I completed JHS and I was able to save some money which helped me start my own business.
I operate a drinking spot and sells food. I buy the alcoholic products from a wholesale and also buy the foodstuffs I use to cook from the market. My business is very useful because it help me to support my husband in sponsoring our children's education. My cost of operation is GHS 1000 and my revenue is GHS 1800.
I will buy alcoholic drinks, vegetables and maize with the loan. This will help me grow my business and help me increase my profit, it will also help my customers to get alcoholic drinks and food to buy anytime there come to my joint.
Alcoholic drinks and the selling of food have ready market in my community and it is not easy for me to run at loss but in case of any risk I will repay with profit from my other business.
