I was admitted to Kipkabus secondary for my secondary education.life in high was difficult because i had to struggle to get fees, this forced me to look for household chores in the neighborhood houses during holidays to raise my fees.
After high school i managed to join Egerton University to study Bachelor of Commerce where i graduated in the year 2013 with second class(upper division)It is in the university that i was equipped with business skills.
After graduation i went home and start farming business. My hobby include reading business journals and playing hand ball.

My Business

I do farming business ranging from various varieties of crops mainly Maize, wheat, fruits and legumes( beans).Maize and wheat happen to be the staple food in our country and Uasin-Gishu county happens to the nations bread basket with ready market for these products.
I chose this business because availability of land and good climatic conditions experienced in my county. The typical costs include:cultivating cost, seeds, herbicides and harvesting costs. To do cultivation of one acre of land you require capital as follows;plou ghing about 30 us dollars, seeds around 30 dollars, planting labour 15 dollars, herbicides 20dollars and harvesting around 15 dollars totaling to 110 dollars and there is expected yield of around 30 bags each selling at 20 dollars hence a profit of 490 dollars in three months.

Loan Proposal

I intent to buy seeds at a cost of 30 dollars, tiling the land at 30 dollars planting at 15 dollars, herbicides at 20 dollars and harvesting at 15 dollars.i plan to increase the land under maize farming by one acre and therefore increase profit by 490 dollars in three months. This will in turn increase food security in our country.the proceeds will benefit me and my siblings by paying their school fees.
